EmailNa Trust center
What our tools do with the information you enter, what they can and can't tell you, and how we make money. In plain English.
Do the tools send any email?
No. None of the EmailNa tools send an email to anyone, and none of them log into a mail server.
What leaves your browser
| Tool | What is sent out | To where |
|---|---|---|
| Email checker | Only the domain part of each address (the part after the @). The full address never leaves your browser. | Public DNS services: Cloudflare, with Google as a backup |
| DNS record checker | The domain you type | Public DNS services: Cloudflare, with Google as a backup |
| Header analyzer | Nothing. The headers are read in your browser only. | — |
| Bounce decoder | Nothing | — |
| SPF generator and DMARC generator | Nothing | — |
What we store
- We don't store the addresses, domains or headers you check.
- If you use the contact form, your name, email and message reach us through Web3Forms so we can reply.
- Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs to run and protect the site.
- Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your own browser.
What "valid" really means
When an email checker says an address is valid, it means the address is written correctly and its domain is set up to receive email. A deeper verification service may also ask the mail server whether the mailbox exists. None of this proves that a real person reads that inbox. Some servers accept every address (catch-all), some hide whether a mailbox exists, and some addresses are active but abandoned. Read what each verification result means.
Accuracy and limits
- DNS answers can be a few minutes old, because records are cached around the world.
- The disposable-domain list has nearly 10,000 domains, but new throwaway services appear every week.
- The header analyzer explains what the headers say. Headers added by a sender can be faked; the ones added by your own provider are the ones to trust.
- Bounce messages differ between providers. The decoder explains the standard codes and common wording, but your provider's own message is the final word.
How EmailNa makes money
EmailNa has no ads. The same owner runs Veml, a paid list-checking service, which guides for senders mention with a disclosure. Some guides include a labeled Google Workspace referral link. See how we research and our privacy policy.
