- Classic Outlook has a File tab in the top-left corner; the new Outlook for Windows doesn't. If you open Outlook in a web browser, you're using Outlook on the web or Outlook.com.
- Is Outlook.com the same as Hotmail?
- Yes. Hotmail accounts became Outlook.com accounts, and @hotmail.com addresses still work.
