GoDaddy email IMAP and SMTP settings
The server names, ports and sign-in details you need to add GoDaddy email to Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or any other email app.

Username and password
Username: Your full email address on your domain.
Password: Your email password. Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy may require modern sign-in, like any Microsoft 365 mailbox.
Good to know
- GoDaddy sells two kinds of email. Most newer plans are Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy; older plans are Workspace Email. Check which one you have in your GoDaddy account under Email & Office.
- For Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy, the same rules as the Microsoft 365 settings apply, including SMTP sending being turned off by default for some accounts.
How to set it up in a mail app
- Open your mail app and choose to add an account. If it offers "Other", "Manual setup" or "Advanced", pick that.
- Choose IMAP (recommended) or POP.
- Enter the incoming and outgoing servers, ports and security from the table above.
- Use the username and password described below.
- Turn on "Outgoing server requires authentication" and use the same username and password.
If it doesn't work
- Workspace settings don't work
- You probably have Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy. Use the Microsoft servers in the table.
